Wine Description
Our 2018 super-premium William Frederick Shiraz delivers an opaque, ink-black wine in the glass. The aromatics are dense, intense, complex, savoury and spicy, with a volley of violet/spring blossom florals popping over the top. The palate is dominated by big velvety pillows of fruit, which are masking substantial foundations of submerged tannins. This is a big, but elegant, ‘depth-charge’ of high country Shiraz.
Cellar under the right condition with confidence for up to 15-20 years.
Vegan.

Winemaker's Bio
Joanne Irvine’s winemaking career began at an early age, following her father James Irvine “Master Merlot Maker” around the winery from age seven, undertaking the ritual tasting of ferments and wine blending.
In 2010 Jo established Wine Wise; a small batch processing facility in the Barossa to provide winemaking services to small, boutique producers. Jo believes that great wines are created by synergy and attention to detail in both the vineyard and the winery. She strives for excellence and brings passion to the quality of the wines she produces for Brockenchack.
