Wine Description
Our Poppy is a light, fresh, bright style of Grigio rather than a more textural, complex Gris style so more Friuli in north-eastern Italy than Alsace in France.
To achieve this, we pick the Grigio at night to preserve the delicate flavours and natural acidity. Grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks, and we chill the tanks to make sure the grapes go through a very cool fermentation.
Poppy’ Pinot Grigio is a light, crisp wine with a gentle nose of pear and citrus. Its smooth and silk-like texture makes for a highly appealing style.
