Wine Description
Bolder cherry aromas sit well with the chariness and the smoked meat characters. The wine finishes well with beautiful chalky tannins. A cool and wet spring led to a much later picking date for this fruit.
This wine is great with duck, and game meats. It also works really well with dishes that feature mushrooms. A favourite match of ours is Pinot Risotto with Mushroom, Chestnuts and Cavelo Nero.

Winemaker's Bio
Natasha Mooney has been working alongside Darren and Lucy as their winemaker since 2015. They form a collaborative team with a shared vision of producing approachable and expressive wines from the Golding’s vineyard sites.
Natasha has extensive winemaking experience, having worked for wine producers of note both in Australia and overseas, and is recognised as one Australia’s most accomplished wine show judges.
