WINEMAKER’S NOTES
This wine is a classic example of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon from an extraodinary good vintage – a perfect growing season resulted in a wine with varietal Cabernet bouquet and fruit structure. A rich, generous wine that over delivers in every way!
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Purple deep plum with red hue.
Aroma: Rich and ripe black berry fruits with bramble bush, cassis and vanillan oak. Hints of nutmeg spice and chocolate and cherry.
Palate: Beautifully ripe fruit has resulted in a wine with soft, silky tannins, rich and generous fruit of the forest flavours on the palate. The wine has fine grained tannins with great balance and a persistant finish. Oak spice completes and compliments the wine to make a classical Margaret River Cabernet from an all-time vintage.
