A crafted blend from two estate vineyards across our Golden Hillside region in Leasingham adjacent the Kilikanoon winery. The vineyards elevated position, cool nights and warm days during the harvest period, has defined the wines elegance, flavour ripeness and distinctive regional and varietal characters, in this highly prized Clare Valley Cabernet.
Matching new technologies with traditional vinification techniques such as basket pressing, ageing each separate parcel in a combination of new and more seasoned French oak casks for sixteen months and bottling the final cuvee both unfined and unfiltered has given the wine additional complexity and cellaring potential.
