Wine Description
2019 could be the vintage of the decade for Margaret River aromatic whites, with Semillon’s star shining brightly as the hero of this extraordinary SSB. It’s intensely aromatic, exuding aromas of fresh meadow hay, lemon blossom and ripe pineapple with a lovely coriander/lime zest. The palate brims with fresh-cut
pineapple, tropical fruits and lemongrass, with the zesty natural acidity delivering a crisp, dry ultra-refreshing finish.

For the past 10 years our acclaimed and awarded Chief Winemaker works hand-in-glove with the Howling Wolves team to control all aspects of our winemaking – from the vineyard to the barrel to achieve the very best expression of the premium Margaret River fruit.
His wines are made instinctively, sourcing great fruit from vineyards around Margaret River, and crafting them gently into gastronomic styles that are refreshing and elegant.
Our wines reflect a strong sense of place. we strive for purity and persistence of fruit while maintaining elegance and delicacy in structure. The characteristic freshness and flinty undertones lends itself to wines that gain complexity with age. Somewhere between old world austerity and new world opulence lies the essence of Margaret River style - the structure of the old world and fruit-forwardness of the new.
