This grand wine has complex flavours of blackcurrant,capsicum and herbaceous minty notes. Cedar and lavender incense waft in the background.
This wine is named after William Jacob who arrived in Australia together with Colonel Light on the First Fleet brigantine Rapid in 1836 and later became his associate. William planted his first vines in 1854 in the Barossa which made him a founder of the world-famous wine region.
