This 2019 vintage Blaufrankisch is hauntingly beautiful with an appealing nose of blue-brambly fruit and spicy black cherries. Extraordinarily smooth and fine on the palate with a gentle tumble of fruit and a light brush of textured tannin. This stylish red wine sings when paired with your favourite spicy dish - but is also perfectly matched to skillet seared lamb, crispy duck or Atlantic salmon.
This Blaufrankisch will age till 2032 and will become more elegant and understated, yet complex and beautiful, as time passes.
