Wine Description
A rich and satisfying, full bodied Barossa Shiraz offering generous and intense dark fruits, chocolate, vanilla, cherries, plum and spice. Cedary oak is evident too. Drinking well now and will reward short-medium term cellaring under the correct conditions. Aromas of rich red plums, dates and fresh cherries.
Winemaker's Bio
Oliver Crawford took a winemaking role in the Barossa Valley in 1998 and moved to Penfolds the following year. In 2008 Oliver moved to Margaret River joining the Devil’s Lair winemaking team. In 2014 Oliver moved to Vasse Felix where he led the winemaking, viticulture and sales team helping re-define their top Cabernet, now known as Tom Cullity before heading back to South Australia where as General Manager he led Penfolds red, white and fortified winemaking.
In 2019, he joined Pacific Vintners as the Chief Winemaker overseeing and managing from grape quality to winemaking of great wines.
