Wine Description
This is an elegant and refreshing Italian blend designed to be chilled before serving on a warm day. Foreign Correspondent only spends 24 hours on skins and sees no oak to keep it fruit driven and easy to enjoy. The Dolcetto makes up 95% of the blend and offers cherry and red berry fruit. The Lagrein adds a touch of spice and depth with enough brightness to encourage another glass. it is fine by itself, but loves fish and lighter dishes.

Ben Glaetzer is acknowledged as one of the best winemakers working in Australia today. Here he looks at Dolcetto through a new lens to craft a light and elegant red that expresses Dolcetto's soft, fruity generosity. Since his first vintage over 30 years ago, Ben has always sort balance rather than power and Foreign Correspondent is a perfect example of what is possible with this philosophy.
