Wine Description
This Pinot Noir is brightly coloured with youthful purple tones. A strongly perfumed style redolent of spicy black cherry, dark fruits and hints of raspberries. The wine displays a juicy, sweet-fruit middle palate with soft, ripe tannins and fresh acidity.
Winemaker's Bio
Originally from New Zealand, Tom Wallace moved to Tasmania 10 years ago to make ‘great wine’. He has overseen the winemaking for Tamar Ridge, Devils Corner and Pirie Sparkling since 2013. Tom cut his winemaking teeth in New Zealand but has also worked in California and France and closer to home, in the Hunter Valley and McLaren Vale. Tom was a scholar of the Len Evan’s tutorial in 2019 and can often be found keeping up with the latest styles in winemaking as a judge at various wine shows around the country.
