Winery Overview
Chapel Hill Winery is a prestigious and award-winning winery in McLaren Vale, South Australia.
The winery and vineyard is situated on the site of the Seaview Methodist chapel and school house. The 1865 ironstone chapel still stands today and is an integral feature of the popular tasting room. The winery founder Thomas Nelson hand planted the vineyard on the estate starting in 1972 and the first vintage was in 1975. Chapel Hill will proudly celebrate its 50th consecutive vintage in 2024.
At Chapel Hill there exists a deep respect for their land and vines. Along with the rich history, this inspires the vision to handcraft wines with purity and balance. All of the grapes and wines are handled gently in small batches to showcase the wonderful site and varietal characters of McLaren Vale.
Chapel Hill features proudly in the Paragon Wine Estates (part of Endeavour Group) premium wine portfolio that showcases brands with provenance and history.
