Orbis Wines
McLaren Vale , South Australia
Orbis Wines is a family-owned winery and estate vineyard in McLaren Vale, South Australia, dedicated to producing wines that reflect both place and purpose. Regenerative farming sits at the heart of our business, guiding every decision we make in the vineyard and winery. As certified members of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, we are currently progressing towards certified organic and biodynamic production, with a long-term commitment to improving soil health, biodiversity and ecosystem resilience.
Located in the Willunga foothills, our vineyard benefits from cooling gully breezes from the Mount Lofty Ranges and diverse geology, producing wines with freshness, balance and a strong sense of site. We focus on Mediterranean varieties naturally suited to our climate, including Albariño, Fiano, Garganega, Grenache Blanc, Trousseau, Cinsault, Grenache, Nero d'Avola and Montepulciano, alongside premium old-vine Shiraz and Tempranillo.
All wines are produced from estate-grown fruit and crafted with a minimal intervention philosophy to preserve varietal character and vineyard expression. The resulting wines are expressive, food-friendly and distinctly Australian, while offering the elegance, freshness and balance increasingly sought by global consumers.
Our unique value proposition lies in the combination of regenerative viticulture, estate-grown Mediterranean varieties and small-batch winemaking. While many producers speak about sustainability, Orbis is built around the belief that what we nurture in the vineyard is ultimately expressed in the bottle. This commitment has helped establish Orbis as a progressive McLaren Vale producer creating distinctive wines for premium retail and hospitality markets worldwide.
