Wine Description
We are super happy with the end result - the fruit forwardness, the grapefruit pith texture, the crescendo of pomegranate flavours and the incredible balance. Pretty much anything from the ocean or the river will go well with this wine - think fresh, fleshy prawns, grilled Murray cod or chilli mussels. This wine is a great sipping wine so can be enjoyed just by itself, with good company of course.
Current wines in this range include Sauvignon Blanc, Rose and Cabernet Sauvignon. Based on interest, the range can be extended to include other varietals.

Winemaker's Bio
Anthony Murphy graduated from Roseworthy College in 1978 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Oenology and began his winemaking career at Mildara Blass before establishing Trentham Estate with his brother Patrick in 1988.
In 2006 Anthony and Pat were nominated for Australian Gourmet Traveller WINE magazine’s ‘Winemaker of the Year’ award; the brothers were the first grapegrowing-winemaking team from an irrigated Murray region to be nominated. Another highlight of Anthony’s career has been receiving the Trophy for best shiraz at the 2008 International Wine & Spirit Competition.
