Dark purple and fresh cassis; bright but deep. At the core of this wine is a blackhole of pure cassis and unalloyed black currant. The seamless structure promotes silkiness, yet it is underscored so definitively by super-fine tannins that swirl around a heart of dense mid- palate fruit. Black and blueberry, on-point mulberry, green tobacco leaf, a charred and skinned red pepper.
