Wine Description
Pale gold in colour mixed with straw and hay hues. Minerals, lemon meringue, custard, wet river pebbles, newly-baled straw, marzipan, white stone fruits. Acidity and length, put simply. Yet around and within that there are nectarine and white peach flavours, and Royal Gala apple skin crunch and grip, particularly at the front palate. Mid palate is all stone fruits followed by a loooooong finish, with searing and puckering acidity lingering and drawing out the texture and flavour of the wine in a sustained, trailing, over-the- horizon manner.
