Rich-medium/full bodied, structural tannins, bold, chocolate and dried florals. With terrific fruit power and spicy nuances this is a wonderful interpretation of the quintessential Australian red blend.

Peter Douglas (Winemaker) Claire Davies (Viticulturist)

Winemaker Peter Douglas made a name for himself while working as a senior winemaker with Wynns Coonawarra Estate, a Penfolds label. Peter has also worked in California and Sicily, and is currently based in Coonawarra where he works with Eight at the Gate. Claire Davies is a Roseworthy trained viticulturist and prior to purchasing their vineyard, worked as a viticultural consultant to one of the most respected people within the global viticulture industry, Di Davidson.
