Taken from a single vineyard from the Barossa Floor, Barossa. Grown on a ancient sandy loam soil with a low fertility. The wine has an intense dark brick red colour and a bouquet of dark morello cherry and spice. It has been crafted to enhance the rich, dark morello cherry and ripe raspberry fruits, with a combination of new American and new French oak, finishing with a silky tannin finish. Rewarding in flavour the wine has complexity and elegance and vegan friendly.

Barossa born multi trophy winning winemaker Joanne Irvine is a highly sought after, small batch wine making specialist. Jo left home to pursue a career spanning 18 years as a nurse until she had what she describes as a “mid- life crisis” and became a winemaker.
Creating wines since 1993, including vintages in Sonoma and Napa USA, Jo could never have guessed that at age 7, while following her winemaking father around a winery, she would have started a successful wine consulting company in 2003 and created her own dynamic wine brand in 2014, Levrier by Jo Irvine.
