Domaine Asmara
Heathcote , Victoria
Winery Overview
Domaine Asmara is known for its small range of premium red and white wines.
It's not a huge winery. In fact, it's pretty small. They don’t spend a fortune on marketing. In fact, they spend hardly anything. They don’t have a heap of fancy equipment or a big staff, there are only a few people doing all the work.
But the one thing they don’t compromise on is their wine. Everything they do is dedicated to producing exceptional wines.
They spend their days tending their vines by hand. There’s no machine intervention there (except for a pair of secateurs if you can call that a machine). The only thing that intervenes is Mother Nature and you could say their wine is organic. They like to say, let Mother Nature do its work on simply great wines.
Domaine Asmara is a 5-star rated winery in the James Halliday 2021 Wine Companion and has achieved numerous gold medal and trophy awards over the years - a testament to the outstanding quality of the wines.
“Asmara” means “Love and passion” in Indonesian.
Andreas and Henni Greiving from Domaine Asmara look forward to sharing this love and passion for wine with you.
