Wine Description
Whole bunches were hand harvested and then allowed to air dry on racks for about 2 weeks.
During this time, the grapes dehydrate, resulting in much more flavor concentration.
The fruit was then basket pressed and naturally fermented and matured in 100% new 228 liters French oak barriques for 16 months.
Beautiful golden hue with elegant bouquet showing a hint of toffee and light honeysuckle aromas.
Powerful flavor with strong peach and apricot influence. Will stand up perfectly against any desert.
Winemaker's Bio
German born Andreas Greiving graduated as a chemical engineer in Germany back in 1988.After spending 20 years as an expatriate in numerous countries for a multinational swiss company, Andreas and family immigrated to Australia in 2009. With the purchase of an existing vineyard in the famous Heathcote wine region, the journey of following the love and passion for making great wines began.
