Wine Description
The fruit was hand harvested late in the season.
After crushing, natural fermentation in French oak barrels followed.
The wine was then fortified with spirits and 12-year-old
brandy.
The wine is wonderfully extracted with real grape tannins. Loaded with dark fruit flavours and coffee grind bitters. The palate has a very long finish. A great dessert wine and true Lady Killer!
Winemaker's Bio
German born Andreas Greiving graduated as a chemical engineer in Germany back in 1988.After spending 20 years as an expatriate in numerous countries for a multinational swiss company, Andreas and family immigrated to Australia in 2009. With the purchase of an existing vineyard in the famous Heathcote wine region, the journey of following the love and passion for making great wines began.
