Wine Description
Winemaking: Estate grown on our Mt Barker vineyard; Block 10. A very trying vintage resulted in low yields, but we maintained quality through careful vineyard management. Cane pruned. Picked at night to ensure cold fruit is delivered to the winery. 8 hours skin contact to improve flavour and increase texture.
Story: Located on the South Eastern tip of the Adelaide Hills at an altitude of 410m, this vineyard experiences a warmer, dryer summer that average for the Adelaide Hills, this enables us to produce a rich, medium bodied, cool climate Sauvignon Blanc. the Adelaide Hills produces the best Sauvignon Blanc in Australia.
Taste: Pineapple and fresh citrus on the nose, displaying hints of tropical white flowers and lime. The palate delivers a pop of ripe grapefruit, citrus and pineapple with a hint of Summer herbs. Lively acidity provide length and freshness to the finish.
