 Wine Description
Winemaking: Estate grown in our Lobethal vineyard ‘Schoenthal’. Picked early from low yielding vines and at night to preserve fruit quality. 52% Pinot Noir, mixed clones; 777, 115 and 114. 48% Chardonnay. Cold fermented in stainless steel, full malolactic fermentation. Bottled quickly to retain freshness.
Story: This wine is a champion for our brand and for the Adelaide Hills. Our Schoenthal vineyard is a premium site for these two varieties, at 470m above sea level and cooler than average temperatures. The Adelaide Hills produces some of the best sparkling wines in the world. Our wine is a pristine and fresh example of this.
Taste: Vibrant raspberry, cherry and strawberry from the Pinot Noir greet your palate upfront. Followed by citrus and stone fruit from the Chardonnay which also offers length. Finishing fresh and dry with a hint of creaminess.
