Fresh lemon citrus, powder-puff mineral bath salts, white peach and iris flowers. A refreshing acid line. Delicate, balanced but targeted in its focus through the palate.
Winemaker's Bio
Scott Hazeldine joined Schild Estate in 2009 bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.Born and raised in Malawi, Scott was educated in the UK but lured to Australia by a love of wine culture. He worked throughout the Barossa Valley before joining Bordeaux based “garagiste” producer Jonathan Maltus in his Australian operation Colonial Estate.
Seasoning his experience with time in Saint Emilion, Bordeaux and Napa Valley Scott has brought to Schild Estate an excitement and passion for winemaking that simultaneously honours traditions worthy of working with some of the world’s oldest vines whilst maintaining enthusiasm for continuous discovery.
