As dedicated farmers, Fowles have deep respect for provenance and craftsmanship in food and wine. Farm to Table wines embody this connection to the land and enjoyment of it through good food and wine. These wines are bright, generous and carefully blended to complement farm raised produce.
2017 was a cool year, producing lighter, finer style red wines. This wine is blended from Shiraz parcels from a number of distinctly different Central Victorian vineyards, which create amazing complexity in the wine. The fruit was fermented in in an open stainless steel fermenter then matured for nine months in a combination of old French (70%) and American (30%) oak.
A medium bodied Shiraz with bold, rich flavours of rich plum, red fruits and a hint of chocolate and baking spice. Drink now to 2025.
